Geomembrane liners is also called impervious membrane. Its thickness is 0.2 mm - 3 mm, in which the thickness of 0.8 mm above is also called geomembrane. The impervious performance of the geotechnical membrane is mainly depend on the impervious performance of the plastic film. 1.0mmLLDPE geomembrane is an LLDPE polymer produced by the copolymerization process. It has a narrower molecular weight distribution than general LDPE and has a linear structure that makes it have different rheological properties. The melt flow characteristics of LLDPE meet the requirements of the new process, especially the film extrusion process, which can produce high-quality LLDPE products. LLDPE is used in all traditional markets of polyethylene to enhance the performance of stretch resistance, penetration resistance, impact resistance and tear resistance. Its excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking, low temperature impact resistance and warpage resistance make LLDPE attractive for pipe, sheet extrusion and all molding applications. The latest application of 1.0mmLLDPE is as a geomembrane used as a lining for waste slag landfills and waste liquid pools.
