Product Description:
Cows are outdoors around the year. Twice a day they are brought into the milking sheld or they are always in the sheld, regually milking sheld and the yard around it have to be cleaned. This leads to many tons of water contaminated with effluent every day. During the dryer summer time, the water is used for irraigation, however during the cold wet winter time, the irrigation has a detrimental effect on the farm land and environment. The groud is saturated thus the effluent runs off into creaks and streams causing pollution.
To build effluent ponds, firstly, the subsoil has to be prepared and a drainage system has to be installed below the pond. It is topped off with the layer of stone free, fine material(eg. earth, clay, sand). Then a nonwoven geotextile and finally the geomembrane 1.5mm thickness is installed. The stone free layer and geotextile is essential to the protect geomembrane and ensure a long life time.
Geotechnical Requirements
1. HDPE geomembrane has good anti-seepage performance, which can make up for the defects of high cost and easy leakage of reinforced concrete. The geomembrane can also be used with the concrete structure to achieve better anti-seepage effect (for example, the location where the equipment is installed requires pouring concrete).
2. The HDPE geomembrane has the advantages of low cost, good impervious performance, good chemical stability, anti ultraviolet, anti-aging, anti rodent animal and bacteria intrusion, and at the same time circumvent the risk of leakage. Therefore, HDPE geomembrane is suitable for various types of geomembranes.
