Geocell is a kind of new geosynthetics born around 1975. Known as Cellular Confinement Systems, geocell is the ideal solution to soil reinforcement, erosion control, channel protection, and retaining walls. It is a kind of three-dimensional structure geosynthetics that is made of 100% HDPE virgin material. Due to its unique three-dimensional structure and sheet surface, Geomax® geocell has the best reinforcement and drainage effect among geosynthetics.
Geocell is a net-shaped cell structure made from high density polyethylene by welding high intensity thermoplastic sheet, it is flexible to fold during transportation, stretching out and being filled with stone or concrete during service, and forming into structure with powerful lateral confinement and rigidity.
Our high quality geocells are of different sizes, readilby available for delivery. The three dimensional HDPE geocell of different cell sizes and heights uses ultrasonic welding technology for consistent quality to efficiently perform its functions of resistance to erosive forces even on steep slope through its unique flexibility, lightweight, permeability, and high strength. Geocells can also be used for soil stabilization and reinforcement purposes in roads, retaining walls, erosion control, landfills, reservoirs and river training.
