Product Description:
GCL (bentonite waterproof geosynthetic clay liners) that FUYUN produced also named bentonite composite waterproof blanket or pad has four layers:
1. The upper and lower layers are geotextiles playing the role of reinforcement and protection, which it has overall puncture strength and tensile strength;
2. The middle layer is sodium bentonite using natural clay mineral inorganic as materials. Its advantages includes: high absorption water capacity and good expansibility, and low water permeability in wet;
3. The bottom layer is a thin HDPE geomembrane being impervious.
Because having inorganic material bentonite in it, its durability is better than that of organic waterproof material, FUYUN bentonite waterproof blanket can be applied under extreme low temperature (-20℃), but the traditional waterproof material cannot be constructed under that low temperature.
The bentonite waterproof blanket manufactured by needling procedures. These procedures can make the coarse fiber pass through the bentonite from the upper geotextile and fix it on the lower geotextile.
