Production Description:
Geomembrane is a product made of rubber that is used as a coating material in drinkable water ponds. This coating material gets soft and flexible when heated, however, its internal properties do not change. When cooled, it can return to its original state. The main purpose of geomembrane is to provide impermeability. The provision of impermeability in the field application is again provided with geomembrane.
Geomembrane used in buildings provides smooth and excellent insulation between -30 and +85°C. In general, the area of use is quite large. It is used in building foundations, highway tunnels, concrete roofs, ballasted roofs, subway structures, underground galleries, hangars, wet volumes, and building dilatation systems. PVC membrane should be avoided direct contact with bitumen products due to its chemical structure. If the application is required, geotextile felt should be used as a separator layer.
